Honey Homes’ handymen can complete minor electrical and plumbing jobs, as well as standard handyman tasks around the house that can be completed in less than 2 hours per job.Our handymen can typically complete 95% of tasks themselves. When a job does require a specialist, we’ll connect you to the right vendor and coordinate the process on your behalf. Yes! Members can receive a $50 credit for every new member they refer that signs up for a Honey Homes membership. The credit will be applied to their next invoice(s) from Honey Homes. You can refer a friend or neighbor from your “Profile” tab in the Honey Homes mobile app.
There’s no set minimum or maximum on visits. We aim to knock off your top 3-5 to-do’s every month, so members typically see their handyman twice a month for ongoing to-do’s and maintenance. Visits are usually 1 hour and 45 minutes long. You’ll also have your handyman and our team available on the app for questions of any kind, anytime.
After you sign up for your membership and self-schedule your onboarding visit, you can download the Honey Homes app and start adding to your to-do list.During your first visit, you’ll meet your dedicated handyman, walk him through your to-do list, and prioritize tasks together. He’ll address some quick items that day, and perform a few important maintenance checks on your home.
The cost of parts and materials needed to complete your requests are billed through at cost. For parts that are less than $100, we will purchase them on your behalf, bill your card on file, and provide you a receipt via email. For any parts that are more than $100, we will always ask for your approval to purchase, in the app.Please note that for parts and materials that you will be looking at or touching every day (e.g. a new kitchen faucet), we suggest you pick it out yourself. We’re happy to provide advice as needed.

Honey Homes is a monthly membership service priced at $200/month or $2,000/year billed upfront (save $400). Included in your membership is all handyman labor for ongoing tasks and preventive maintenance. Also included is direct access to your handyman and our team of experts to answer questions and address issues as they arise. Any parts and materials, or specialists that you ask us to coordinate on your behalf will be passed through to you at cost.We’re a startup, and want to make sure our members are happy. You can cancel your membership at any time without penalty. For annual memberships paid upfront, you’ll receive a refund equal to $2,000 less $200 per month you’ve been a member. For monthly memberships, you won’t be renewed for the following month.You can choose from a month-to-month membership or sign a contract for a yearly membership. We’re able to pass along competitive bulk pricing for high-quality vendors such as window washing, gutter cleaning, carpet cleaning, knife sharpening, and more.You’ll be notified of new seasonal partners in the Honey Homes app, and have the ability to opt in. Once you approve the cost, we’ll help schedule and coordinate your visit. We will pay the vendor on your behalf, and will bill your card on file. We’ll bill your card on file, and you’ll receive an email receipt of your purchase.
